Day at sea

It was a beautiful hot day at Sea. Very hard to find chairs for us all to sit at but we finally found them at the back of the ahip near the Spa which was great as there were rest rooms and iced cold water close by, also a lounge to sit and cool off at if it became too hot outside. Reading, and yes saduko for Mike, was the order of the day plus just plain relaxing..

We had dinner at Izumi, a Japanesse sushi style restaurant overlooking the ocean and it was very nice.

I especially thought Dd looked beautiful..

Captain Gary and Jane were fun to be with as were Dr. Gary and Karen. Mike not so much..

Mike was a bit of a pain as he beat me in a single game of Casino and he was gloating even though I am substantially ahead in the cruise tournament with Mike by the score of 2 to 1. I was shocked and dismayed by his amount of joy in winning a single game, but then I thought back to how few games Mike has won in the past and realized how special the victory was for him.. Way to go Mike.

We went to the show after dinner and saw a group that pretended to be the Four Seasons and they were very good. Dd and Karen looked like bookends dancing in their seats to the music, while Mike and I sat like bumps on a log, but Mike and I enjoyed the show also.

Following the show we went to the Casino where I won a chance to compete in a black jack tournament  which I won. Way to go Me.. I looked for Dd to share this moment of glory with and found out she went to the room to change into walking shoes so she and Karen could walk. Let it be known that even though she was not there to support her husband in the brutal and blood thirsty combat of the tournament she was very quick to take the gift certificate, one of the prizes I won, without giving me the chane to even offer it to her. I think, Karsn Russell had some influence on her as Dd looked to Karen for support when I acted shocked by her brazen behavior. Needless to say Karen totally sided with Dd.. After that we went to the privacy our rooms to prepare for Thrkey and one ofthe 7 wonders of the world...
