The balance of day two of the most excellent adventure

Following breakfast at our hotel, which was wonderful

Which included Karen having a few drinks to start the day. Living with Mike who can blame her.

We met our guide at San Marco..

Berta was her name but I thought of another word which starts with a "b" to describe her. She did not like questions and was rather rude, so I took it upon myself to really piss her off, which I did ..

The cathedral was beautiful and definitely worth while. Here are some pics which do not begin to attest to how amazing this church is:

After Betta walked us through the back areas we had lunch that was ok but not great.

Our waiter was a bit curt, but not too bad.

I must admit, that I fell in love with a special Italian. Josh this is for you.

We took the water bus for an hour ride to Baroma, which is a quiet island with shops and restaurants and was quiet.

I have taken many pictures of doors and here are a few:

One of the stores on the island sold some unusual gifts:

It reminded me of The Book Of Mormans.

We had dinner at a nice place with a fair amount of wine that was great:

By the way Capt Gary normally does not cross dress, Fed Ex frowns on their pilots being in drag, but when in Rome, so to speak. By the way he only had one glass of wine. Those fly boys sure know how to have fun. We took the water bus back after fighting off a horde of Mosquitos , as evidenced by my video I sent out separately, and saw the Casino in Venuce by water.

We called it a day or night after walking over 8.5 miles. Just a side note, I think Dd is trying to walk me to death so she will not be suspected of murdering her husband. If I do not make it back, someone needs to look into the circumstances if my demise. We miss you all and wish you were with us.

Alvin, a man who is an island unto himself
