Katalon and Olympus

Another hot hot day, but we were not going to quit, especially since we prepaid for the excursion..
The bus ride to Olympus was uneventful. The tour guide seemed to be quite young.

But as the day progressed he seemed to mature.

As the tour progressed, we were walking and walking..

The ruins of Olympus where they held the forerunner of the present day Olympics was pretty neat.

Here is the entrance to the arena.

We held a preliminary race for own Olympics.

And followed it up with the finals for the event.

Dd is standing in front of the first cauldron of the flame.

We then went a very nice museum.

We went back to the boat while Dd and Karen shopped at the shops at the port. Mike went with them so they would not miss the ship leaving port.

Alvin, a foot sore blogger.
